  • Head Coach Spartakiade Games, Soviet Union. This was the first time a team from the western world had participated in the Spartakiade Games.

  • Co-coach USA select team for FIBA 50th Anniversary Games, Geneva, Switzerland.

  • Big-Ten Coach of the Year

  • Sun Belt Coach of the Year

  • Inducted in Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame 2001

  • Authored “The Basketball Handbook” to help aspiring coaches and players understand more of the technical aspects of being successful in basketball.

  • Supervisor and advisor to coaches in the NBA minor league - the NBDL

  • Served on the NBA Coaches Executive Committee as NBCA-Secretary

  • Traveled as a USA ambassador to over 30 countries as coach, clinician, scout
